Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering, Management and research (DYPIEMR) invited DTK Hydronet Solutions to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 13 June 2019.
Both the organization believe, that Technical & Technological collaboration and cooperation between them will promote more effective use of individual research work, and will provide both with enhanced opportunities. The parties intend to cooperate and focus on the areas of skill-based Training, Education and Research.
The students from the institute would be majorly benefited in enhancement their skills and knowledge on the trending technologies and innovations that the industry demands. It is also agreed that both the organizations shall conduct research activities in the field of Water and Environmental Engineering, on a regular basis, through innovative engineering projects that the students shall work on.
DTK shall also deliver Industry Sessions, Guest Seminars, Engineering Training sessions to the students of Department of Civil Engineering at DYPIEMR.
This MoU was signed by Dr. Anupama V. Patil, Principal, DYPIEMR and DTK Co-Founders Ms. Devashri Karve and Mr. Tanay Kulkarni.
Ms. Kavita Bhurke- Assistant Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, DYPIEMR, who was also present while signing MoU, expressed, "I feel happy and excited to see our institute being associated with DTK Hydronet, and I strongly believe, that this will not only help students to grow professionally and academically, but also, will encourage the staff to focus more on industry specific research and projects."

DTK provides specialized engineering services for GIS based 24 x 7 continuous water supply networks, storm & sanitary sewerage networks, surge analysis, operational reduction in non-revenue water, smart metering and revenue management systems.
DYPIEMR, located in Akurdi, Pune, offers Bachelor of Engineering course in Mechanical engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Civil engineering and Chemical Engineering since 2012-13.
